2026 Convention: The big event is fast approaching!

Finally TOGETHER for the upcoming convention!

It is with great excitement and pride that we look forward to welcoming you on October 27 and 28 for the 2026 ICF Québec Convention, a very special edition as it marks our chapter’s 25th anniversary.

This year, we are delighted to welcome more than 200 attendees to celebrate this major event together, and we’re on track for a sold-out conference.

For those who haven’t registered yet, there’s still time to join us! Simply visit https://congresicfquebec.org .

Please note that if you cannot attend in person, you can register for the virtual event. To do so, simply visit the website listed above.

Here is some useful information for your participation in the convention:

  •  The University will open its doors at 7:00 a.m., and not before. Breakfast will be served starting at 7:15 a.m., and the Conference will begin at 8:15 a.m. on both days of the event. We invite you to check the program at https://congresicfquebec.org/programme.asp for full details.
  • Workshop selections will be made on-site.
  • In the spirit of a sustainable future, our event is once again committed this year to maintaining its CARBOneutre certification.

Therefore:

  • We encourage you to carpool or use public transportation (the venue is right next to the Longueuil–Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
  • We invite you to bring a bag to carry any handouts you receive. Bags from previous editions will be available if needed.
  • To reduce paper use, we are once again using QR codes. Yours was emailed to you upon registration. You’ll also find it in the “Documents” section of your profile on the https://icfquebec.org / MY ACCOUNT  website, as well as on your badge.
  • Be sure to keep it handy on your phone or mobile device. You’ll need to use it to check in for workshops in order to earn your continuing education credits (CCE).
  • Be sure to bring a notebook.
  • Stations with plain and flavored water will be available. Don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottle.
  • Wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes, as the event takes place on two floors. You’ll be able to move around easily by taking the stairs or elevators, whichever you prefer.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed at the registration desk located on the 2nd floor.

If this is your first time attending the Conference: a team of volunteers will welcome you at the Sponsorship Area, located right next to the registration desk. There, you’ll find all the information you need to make this event a memorable experience.

Be sure to stock up on business cards as well. You can give them to colleagues or use them as raffle tickets at certain exhibitors’ booths.

A photographer will be on site again this year. This is a great opportunity to update your professional photo. All details will be available on-site, and you can choose from a selection of time slots for personalized photo sessions at a special rate.

This year, several authors have responded to our call and will be present in the Authors’ Corner throughout the conference. We’d like to extend our warmest thanks to them for joining us.

Take this opportunity to discover their works, chat with them, find inspiration, and gather new ideas.
